Meridianos do Futuro is an exhibition at the Convento de São Francisco that revisits the Coimbra delegation of the Casa dos Estudantes do Império (CEI). Active between 1945 and 1965, hosted students from Portugal's then colonies and also became a space of cultural life and politicisation, linked to figures who would later play a decisive role in the African independence movements. Through documents, photographs and audiovisual records, the story of this house is traced from beginning to end, so that this memory is not forgotten.

The visual identity draws on the idea of the meridian: its curves and lines become the graphic element that runs through the whole of the exhibition's communication, linking the different content sections to one another. The exhibition design carries this through into the gallery space, shaping a route that follows the chronological reading of the Casa de Coimbra, from the beginning to the end of its activity, and weaving together the documentary sections with the audiovisual records on display.
